Amongst a beautiful stretch of rolling hills and abundant vegetation just outside St. George, the member-owned Bloomington Country Club has been treating golfers of all skill levels since 1969. Known to locals as a “playable challenge,” this par 72 course measures a modest 6,486 yards. However, Bloomington Country Club’s unique par 3s make up for length with a number of hazards, elevation changes and other twists and turns. Likewise, the presence of five distinct tee locations adds challenging variety for advanced players. Many golfers that have played at Bloomington Country Club have found William Neff’s design to be “player-friendly” without being “easy.”

As the second course built in the St. George area, Bloomington Country Club displays a maturity that many other courses in the region won’t see for many years. With nearly 40 years of grown and development, the trees lining the traditional fairways have come to resemble those of the nation’s favorite courses, while the grasses throughout the course are known for their excellent texture and playability. For many golfers, the putting surfaces at Bloomington Country Club also stand out as amongst the truest and most forgiving in the St. George area. In addition to the long-term development, Bloomington Country Club’s overall playability owes much to the expert maintenance that keeps the course in great shape all year round.

Taking advantage of the mild winter climate in Southern Utah, Bloomington Country Club is open for play and practice throughout the year. In addition to an expansive driving range, the course also features golf lessons and clinics for those new to the game. Members of Bloomington Country Club can take advantage of onsite locker rooms and storage facilities for clubs and golf carts.

When golfers finish their rounds, they often stop buy the snack bar or return in the evening for fine dining at Bloomington Country Club’s restaurant. Tennis and swimming are also represented, as Bloomington Country Club features six lighted tennis courts open all year and a fully-staffed Olympic-size swimming pool complete with diving area and wading pool for children.

Bloomington Country Club is located in the Southwest corner of Utah, one and a half miles from Las Vegas, Nevada. Take Interstate 15 to Bloomington Exit #4, follow the roundabout driving south on Pioneer Road, turn right on Man of War Road, drive across the bridge and turn right at the stop sign on Bloomington Drive East. Our club is located on the left hand side of the road.
