FeelLove Coffee
St. George coffee roaster on Riverside Drive, founded in 2019 and built on the European café idea by Jasher and Lisa FeelLove.
The first shop opened in March 2019 — inside a hot yoga studio, which is an unusual start for a roaster — after founder Jasher FeelLove spent time living in England and traveling in Europe and decided St. George wanted a café of that kind. He had managed a Starbucks in the early 2000s before going out on his own. USA Today has named it among the top ten independent coffee shops in the country, and it has since grown beyond this Riverside Drive location.
About the craft
Southern Utah's coffee culture developed late and then quickly, and it sits alongside the region's other caffeine habit — the 'dirty soda', a fountain drink built with cream and flavored syrup, which is a genuinely Utah invention. Roasting on site rather than buying green-to-cup lets a shop control the roast profile, which is the single biggest lever on how a coffee tastes after the farm.
