Fiesta Fright is a two-story haunted house that runs through the Halloween season in the old Fiesta Fun building on the south side of St. George. It is the city's main scare attraction, and it is indoors — which in a region where most seasonal events happen outdoors makes it the reliable option when the weather turns.
What it is
A walkthrough haunt built across two floors of a former family entertainment center, using the building's existing corridors and rooms rather than a temporary tent or maze. The layout is the thing it has going for it: real stairwells and interior rooms produce sightlines and blind corners that a purpose-built structure on a parking lot cannot.
It runs on selected nights from late September through Halloween, which is a longer season than most of the region's seasonal attractions manage.

Southern Utah's fall calendar leans heavily agricultural — corn mazes, pumpkin patches and hayrides at the farms out toward Washington Fields. Fiesta Fright is the counterweight, and the two pair naturally: the farms are a daytime family outing, this is the evening one for older children and adults.
