Sandy Rustin's romantic farce, set in 1923 England and written in the spirit of Noël Coward — a comedy of manners built on a cascading web of affairs. Sylvia Van Kipness, tired of secrecy at her annual countryside rendezvous, sends a telegram to both her husband and her lover's wife, and the afternoon unravels from there.
