The Stay is furnished student housing directly across the street from Utah Tech University, leased by the bed with four residents per unit and a private bathroom for every bedroom. Each unit has a stackable washer/dryer, new kitchen appliances, fiber internet, and a 50-inch TV; the community has an on-site manager and 24-hour security cameras.

What is nearby

Utah Tech University is a few minutes on foot away, the Red Cliffs shopping corridor is about a mile away and downtown St. George is about a mile away. Pioneer Park is close enough to walk to, about a mile off. Those are straight-line distances, so allow more by road — the valley is cut up by washes and ridges, and very little of it runs in a straight line.

What the amenities actually mean

Furnished homes. These usually signal a property serving students or short-stay renters, and that tends to come with shorter or by-the-bed lease structures. Confirm exactly what is included before you plan a move around it.

A pool. In southern Utah a pool is in use far more of the year than it would be further north. Worth asking whether it is heated and what months it stays open — the shoulder seasons here are long and warm.

Laundry inside the unit. No trips to a shared room, no waiting on a machine. It is the amenity renters most often say they would not give up again, and in a market with a lot of student and short-term turnover it usually tracks with newer or renovated stock.

Notice, and how leases end here

A fixed-term lease ends on its date; a month-to-month tenancy in Utah ends with 15 days' written notice from either side unless the agreement says otherwise. Many communities convert to month-to-month automatically at a premium once the term is up, so the date to diarise is not the end of the lease but the deadline to give notice — usually well before it.
