Overview
Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park protects a striking expanse of coral-colored sand dunes in southern Utah, roughly 22 miles west of Kanab on Sand Dunes Road. The dunes' distinctive pink hue comes from eroded Navajo sandstone.
What to Do
The park is a favorite for off-highway vehicle riding on designated dune areas, as well as hiking, sandboarding, and photography. A campground offers both no-hookup and water-and-electric sites for overnight visitors.
Know Before You Go
The park is open daylight hours, seven days a week. Day-use entry is $15 per vehicle, or $10 for Utah seniors 65 and older. Camping ranges from $28 per night for standard (no-hookup) sites in the older campground to $45 per night for water-and-electric sites; group sites are also available. Reservations can be made at 800-322-3770 or online through the Utah State Parks reservation system.
