Each spring, St. George hosts one of the most scenic half-distance triathlons in North America. The 1.2-mile swim takes place at Sand Hollow Reservoir (near Hurricane), followed by a challenging 56-mile bike through Southern Utah's red-rock country and a 13.1-mile run that finishes in downtown St. George.
