Summit Sotheby's International

Summit Sotheby's International Realty holds a third Washington County office at 151 North Main Street, in the center of downtown St. George, with Kasey Verdugo as principal broker. The firm is Utah's exclusive Sotheby's International Realty affiliate and was organized in 2008. Where the company's Auto Mall and Black Desert offices sit near the highway and the Ivins resort corridor, the Main Street location puts it in the historic core, within a few blocks of the Tabernacle, the temple and the downtown commercial district.

What the affiliation does and does not cover

Sotheby's International Realty sets the branding and the standards; the day-to-day practice belongs to the people in this office. Franchise agreements do not pool commissions, assign clients or put a head office between you and your agent. The useful part is reach — relocation referrals from other markets land through the network, and in a county where a large share of buyers arrive from somewhere else, that pipeline is a real asset.

Placing the office on the map

That address sits on Main Street, the spine of the original pioneer grid, within a couple of blocks of the tabernacle and the temple. Washington County has more gated communities than a place this size would normally support, and they are not all the same thing. Ask what the gate is, who maintains the roads behind it and whether they are private — private roads mean the association, not the city, pays to resurface them.
